The Bergmann Heritage Series is the work of Young Change's 40-year legacy of piano craftsmanship. The human touch is evident in every Console, Studio and Grand. Sophisticated asymmetrical soundboards are constructed of hand-selected spruce for superior tone. Hammers are made of the finest felt and maple, imparting endurance with great sensitivity. The precision cast vacuum-process iron frame provides superior strength and stability. Nickel plated tuning pins are precisely driven into hard maple pin blocks. It has been more than 40 years since the three Kim brothers, Young, Chang and Jai, founded the Young Chang piano company in Korea. In that time, Young Chang has evolved to become one of the world leaders in the piano industry, manufacturing pianos for Steinway, Weber (Samsung), Knabe and others, as well as their own Young Chang Gold Series. Their state of the art facility in Tianjin, China combines the experience of Korean Artisans with the new wave of tradition and technology found in today's China.
