PRAMBERGER World renowned Joseph Pramberger, a seventh generation master piano builder, joined Young Chang in 1995 where he made refinements to the existing strengths of the Young Chang Piano line. The results are soundboards with greater flexibility and action with excellent dynamic response. These changes have taken the concept of tone, touch, beauty and performance to a remarkable new standard. The result is a superior level of quality in design and craftsmanship. Some of the special features of Pramberger Pianos: Solid Sitka Spruce Soundboard - lightweight, strong, yet sensitive to the tiniest vibrations. Acoustic Cut Tenor Bridge - this superior design provides strength and stability while directing maximum accoustic energy to the soundboard. Asymmetrical Acoustic Taper & Asymmetrical Curved Rib Crowning - for enhanced flexibilty of the soundboard - resulting in a more vibrant tone. Duplexing Scaling - produces tuned layers of sympathetic harmonics, adding strength to the primary note.
